You cross the water’s path, put sandbags or set a wall before it, but whatever you do, water finds a crack, and keeps flowing freely of course, in the journey, it faces many obstacles, may even get all muddy, this is always the case, however, in this country, “water murders” constantly take place. This piece is the story of those who make the journey of water their own journey and wander along all kinds of water. A suitcase is opened, and things come out surely find their own cracks.

Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası is a project group formed by dancers with different backgrounds. Its objective is to give impetus to the growth of modern dance as an artistic branch (a combination of movement, performance, drama, video etc.) in Turkey , which is already on the rise in terms of popularity, displaying a real potential for further development. After six years of performances, the group is regarded as a pioneering initiative in this field in Turkey .

Mihran Tomasyan, who had started dancing with folklore, compeleted his education at Mimar Sinan University Modern Dance Department (2001) and Centre National de Danse Contemporain (2002, France). He has worked with many local and international choreographers and companies (Rebecca Lazier, Tuğçe Tuna, Aydın Teker, Company Cre-Ange, Da Motus). He has been creating his own works since 2003 with Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası.
